A New Beginning Starts with One Step
Dear Friends and Family in Christ,
When was the last time you walked into a church, took a deep breath, and felt at home?
Maybe it’s been weeks. Maybe it’s been years. Maybe life got busy, confusing, or even disappointing.
Maybe you were hurt. Maybe you drifted. Or maybe… you’re just wondering if faith still has a place in your life.
You’re not alone.
And here’s the good news: God hasn’t gone anywhere.
At Pennsauken United Methodist Church, we believe that everyone’s story matters, including yours.
Whether you’re carrying heavy questions or quiet hopes, God welcomes you—and so do we.
The Bible tells us: “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 (NRSV)
This isn’t just a verse. It’s an invitation. To rest. To reconnect.
To be known—not for what you’ve done or where you’ve been, but for who you are: a beloved child of God.
Please join us this Sunday at 9:30 AM.
We won’t ask for your resume. We won’t expect you to have it all together. We’ll just be glad to see you.
We’ll sing (even if we’re a little off-key). We’ll pray (because life is better when we don’t carry it alone).
We’ll open the Word (and let it open us). And we’ll share coffee, stories, and a few good laughs along the way.
Because church isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present with each other and with God.
There’s a seat for you. Really. Just as you are.
We hope you’ll join us and discover that this just might be the beginning of something new.
With open hearts, open minds, and open doors
Your Pennsauken UMC Family
